Mathew, a seasoned Endeavour Energy electrician, witnessed the demand for sustainable energy and saw an opportunity to deliver better solar solutions.
Driven by a passion for renewable resources, Mathew left his full-time job to start Macarthur Solar. Certified by the Clean Energy Council of Australia, he ensured every installation was performed with premium craftsmanship, using top-tier products like Fronius, Enphase, and Hyundai.
Mathew’s journey began humbly, operating from his dining table and garage. He aimed to demystify solar energy for customers, focusing on the tangible benefits rather than confusing technical jargon. His dedication to quality and customer education set Macarthur Solar apart from competitors offering quick and cheap installations.
During this process he learnt a lot about the way some businesses approached solar panel installations and was disappointed to find that in many cases, the focus was to sell unsuspecting customers the biggest system with the cheapest products and install in the quickest possible timeframe. This was of concern to Mat as some of his own neighbours had spent their hard-earned money on solar panel systems that were ineffective, inefficient and in some cases outright dangerous, posing a fire risk to the them and their families.
Today, Macarthur Solar boasts a dedicated team of six installers who undergo extensive training to ensure meticulous installations. Based in Macarthur, the team has successfully installed over 10,000 solar panels, emphasising safety, efficiency, and long-term value.
